  1. I’m proud to see that some one had put this Magazine into force. I think i’ll like to know about our former NJBlue. Focusing on the ones’ who has retire d or had to retire do to illness. I’m interesting in Plfd, Newark, Edison. etc….All who made that mark and would if they can share the retirement life. I’ll like seeing and reading their story. Thank you. I think we are getting good info.

  2. Could you comment on the pros & cons of that program NJ ran last week where people with outstanding warrants came forward. Did they get amnesty? When will they run it again?

  4. Hi, Valerie:

    We love your show!

Medal of Honor recipient, Officer Paul J. Williams, is making a short film called CASE #5930, a crime drama.

We are in the midst of raising funds to bring the movie to light, and we would like your help. Please visit our Kickstarter page, and if you like what you see, could you promote the campaign on your Facebook page and website? And Officer Williams is available for an interview.

Office Williams and I are both award winning screenwriters and filmmakers.

We hope you find our project worthwhile.

Thank you so very much for your time and energy.

Enjoy your day – and be safe,

    Bill

  6. Hi Valerie,

As a retired captain and 26 year veteran of the La Mesa Police Department near San Diego, I’ve recently had an emotional survival guidebook published called “Bulletproof Spirit: The First Responders Essential Resource for Protecting and healing Mind and Heart” (New World Library Sept. 2014). My book for the first time provides proactive emotional survival and wellness strategies that protect, heal, and nurture the spirit of those that serve–so they will no longer suffer in service. see: firstresponderwellness.com for more information. Since most people know of a first responder, or are affected potentially by a responding officer who is suffering, this subject should be of great interest to your listeners.

With suicide being the #1 cause of death for officers with another 120,000 working with symptoms of PTSD, awareness needs to be raised regarding how to emotionally survive this job. It would be my distinct pleasure to be interviewed on your show. If interested, you may contact me at: dwillis1121@yahoo.com All the best,

    Dan Willis

  7. Dear Val: I am honored and humbled by the fact that you found my story relevant to the present times. But for me it was a long painful process against a City for whom I dedicated and gave my all to serve diligently, without passion or prejudice.
You can utilize whatever is in the public record and or the internet, but there are some records confidential and sensitive enough to still warrant a mandate by the NJ Court of Appeals to remain sealed.Though I lost my family and every person that I ever cared for or interacted with, I promised not to promote any further details of the matter. Truthfully, with the exception of semi-annual mandated NJSP firearms re-certifications, I haven’t been to Jersey in over 20+ years.
    Respectfully Submitted,
    Janet Aiello

    • Thank you very much Lt. I respect your feelings. I wish you nothing but the best. God bless you always. Stay safe
